Sa'n Matamis?
San Mateo!

"Sa'n Matamis?
San Mateo!"

A protest campaign that makes invisible women’s labor visible through kakanin.

BRIEF

Kakanin is celebrated in San Mateo—but the women who make it are often overlooked. The campaign repositions the product to recognize the labor behind it.

INSIGHT

The sweetest part of kakanin is the labor you don’t see.

IDEA

Make labor visible by embedding it into a counterprint recipe book disguised as kakanin pasalubong.
